I'm swapping a 2jzge-T into my MKIII Supra and am planning to put the 7mgte out of into my 4-Runner in the next year or so. I have a 2" body lift and was thinking about putting a 1" drivetrain lift (4crawler motor mount spacers, budbuilt xmember) to try and clear the IFS diff without modding the oilpan or pickup. Any thoughts? _________________ '87 4Runner, '89 Supra Turbo, and hopefully a 1uz 2nd gen 4Runner |

It may help, but you will still have clearance issues. Might be enough to take a hammer to it, you will just have to try and see. _________________ Supra Swapper and Owner of this site |

Thanks, just trying to judge about how much clearance is needed. I could probably even do a 2" drivetrain lift if I modify the horsecollar crossmember. _________________ '87 4Runner, '89 Supra Turbo, and hopefully a 1uz 2nd gen 4Runner |

A front sump pan will clear, but you will be more prone to oil starvation on steep terrain. |
