so i have seen a few things about using the ford taurus fan, and i have heard many great things about it. I plan on doing a swap and am looking into the possible cooling fans and it seems to be a great fan for the price, I drive a 89 toyota pickup 2wd with a 22r, no power steering, i cut the sway bar to fit a header i bought for my truck lol, but really what im wanting to know is if i get a taurus fan will i run into any clearance problems? has anyone used a taurus fan if so, does it perform well and did it fit well, do you have any pictures? i appologize i know i have terrible grammar lol, anyways thanks for the help,

Zach

I don't think a taurus fan would work very well. You usually have to go with ultra thin fans like the flex-lite ultra fans. I would go with the dual 12" fans that have a one piece shroud.

I tried using a taurus fan on my swap and it was way too big and thick....

puller are always better, but are often harder to fit without cutting out the radiator support. If you go with pusher, and don't want to cut out the radiator support, you might have to go with 10"s. Just measure to figure out what you want to go with.

ive got an s10 v8 conversion manual and it says that taurus fans work really well
suposedly the are better then anything you could buy in the after market world

the s10 manual also says to do the swap a radiator form a i believe 86-89 corvette works best

i know that this isn't an s10 but i figure it would probably work
