Just re-reading everything about this swap...
One thing I notice now is that a body lift is recommended to clear the firewall and hood.. That is not an option for me, so reading this thread..

customizing the mounts should do it, if guys are running a 1" body lift, and the engine mount combo used raises the engine 1 and a 1/4" then with my magic powers of mathematics I deduct that the 1" drop in the mount set up will give me my desired effect.. do you concur
Now if I drop the motor on it's mounts by an inch, it will not only give me the clearance I need but it will also solve the driveline angle change mentioned in the thread above. Is there anything else to consider?
