Ya I used the tach adapter, it was about $60CAN at the local parts store. I would recommend locating it under the hood and feeding the wires through the firewall as it makes an annoying clicking sound.

excellent tip,thanks for that one i hate annoying in cab noises,how the w58 holding up?any more engine work?how bigs the intercooler you fitted ,and do you have any pics?

tranny seems fine, I'm more worried about the rear end, I havn't been able to do any work cause I'm in an apartment now, IC is still waiting to go in but its 24x12x3

knocking went away the next time I started it up so it turns out I dont have rod knock...yay

Don't know what else it could have been...valves?

Its gone now so who cares.

when my supra hits about 11psi it starts making a funny noise almost like preignition or a leaky exhaust gasket,but the gasket is good and the timing hasnt been touched since it was in my 4runner and it ran like a dream in that.
