I just wanted to thank Rob and everybody else who has contributed to this site. All your information makes this swap so much easier. I finally drove the truck around the block the other night with a grin from ear to ear. I still have a lot more work to do, but at least I get to hear the turbo spool now. _________________ Stock 90' 4x4 22R-E 5spd (Now a 7M-GTE, Yahoo!) |

Congradulations! You will be happy with the swap. I have been checking my mileage lately and getting slightly better than 20 mpg with the 35s and 4.10 gears. This was combination driving. Offroad it performs much better than the four cylinder. It nearly idles up hills where the stock four had to be tached to 3,000 rpm.

What kind of specs? Here's a link to site I started http://www.cardomain.com/id/hiluxdeuce It has some decent info on the 4th page. I need to update it, but I've been putting most of my time into getting my truck road worthy. _________________ Stock 90' 4x4 22R-E 5spd (Now a 7M-GTE, Yahoo!) |

My total on expenses are around $1500. After parting out the car, I'm around $650 out of pocket. I still have some more parts and my old engine to sell, so I'm sure the the out of pocket expense will be lower when I'm done. _________________ Stock 90' 4x4 22R-E 5spd (Now a 7M-GTE, Yahoo!) |
