I have a 1986 4Runner with a solid front axle and i have a 5m-ge waiting to be rebuilt. I was given the 5m for free so i decided to plan a swap this spring/summer. I have the engine wiring but not an ecu. I was looking for some tips and info on the swap. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I would read up through the swaps that have been completed already. Many links to swaps from the home page.

Get a general idea on how to do it. We can help you out a little more that way.
