Great im not even done with my 7mgte swap and its already outdated Rolling Eyes

7MGTE's can yield more power cheaper, and I still like them, but it is a hard market to sell stuff for because a lot of people don't like to cut out thier radiator support.

I still have a 7MGTE truck I am working on, so not outdated....just different

thats interesting. before when i was running the 7mge i retained my front radiator support in my 86.

you don't need to remove the radiator support, but if you don't, you might have cooling issues if you are turbo, and you cannot put your A/C condesor in.

this v8 swap may be the answer to alot of peoples prayers,im told they produce a less aggressive hp than the 7mgte so that means less breakages.i read a while ago where someone took a 1uz and threw away the original computer and used a standalone and after only adding extractors pulled a huge peformance gain,i cant recall the h.p figures exactly but as soon as i find the site illl post it up.

yeah, the stock ECU isn't all that grat, and by adding a piggy back system, you are able to pull about 20hp extra. Along with headers and an intake, you can get pretty close to 300bhp total.

yes, this would be. CA allows for engine swaps, but it has to be from the same year or newer. I don't think they care about the size.
